Supervisor, Shelf Ready Services

Coutts Information Services is an International book wholesaler with customers in over 100 countries and operations in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Our growing operation is currently seeking highly ambitious individual to join our successful and rapidly growing business in the position of Supervisor, Shelf Ready Services

Job Description
Reporting to the Manager Shelfready Services, the Supervisor, Shelf Ready Services is responsible for the managing and organizing the designated staff and supervises the processing of material and engages in cataloguing.

Knowledge and Skills
The successful candidate will possess a MLS or equivalent from an ALA-accredited institution and/or at least 3 years experience with administrative and supervisory responsibility in library operations and 2 years cataloguing experience. Must be experienced with AACR2, LCSH, Dewey Decimal, MeSH, LC classification schedules, USMARC, UKMARC formats and have current awareness & experience with Internet access to bibliographic databases & CD-ROM technologies. The candidate will have strong oral, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Please note that the position is located at the North American headoffice located in Niagara Falls.
