Firm Orders - Coutts supplies books to libraries throughout the world. As well as general material, Coutts will also supply publications from small presses and conferences, as well as 'grey literature' and hard-to-find titles.

Standing Orders / Continuations - Our unique standing order service - solution is a flexible system providing regular updates on forthcoming publications and budgetary information.

iApprove is the most comprehensive selection support service available bringing together information on North American, UK and European publications on one platform. There are two aspects to this service:

Bookstream is the Coutts book approval / selection plan and works through book in hand selection, resulting in the lowest returns rate in the industry. Last year Coutts treated almost 58,500 titles - the broadest selection in the industry. Our web interface enables the library to track the whole selection process to receipt of the book.

Slipstream is the Coutts new title plan and derives information not only from its internal approval process but also from a range of external North American, UK and European data sources. The result is a monograph database containing in excess of 3 million titles indicating availability. Plans can be set up on-line and information fed directly to your desk-top.

Services

eBooks - Coutts offer a wide range of electronic products to enhance library collections. Our team is continually looking for ways to strategically develop our global eBook services by working in close partnership with data providers, publishers and database hosts

Electronic Ordering - Orders are accepted in all formats. We do, however, encourage electronic ordering (EDI and online) as this speeds up the delivery cycle significantly.

Bibliographic Database - Access to an extensive range of bibliographic information via the website is also available. New titles are constantly added.

Shelf-Ready Services - Coutts provides full shelf-ready services, whereby we catologue and process books to a library's specific requirements.

Reporting and Invoicing - Coutts now offers EDI reports on the status of orders, as well as EDI invoicing. A full status of all orders can be viewed via our password protected website.

Delivery - Shipping and courier companies with the latest sophisticated tracking and delivery systems are used to benefit our customers in over 200 countries.
