iApprove goes live!

Coutts is delighted to be opening iApprove our new innovative Selection Support service that was launched at ALA/CLA in June. There are two main components to iApprove - Bookstream, the Coutts book approval plan and Slipstream - the new title notification plan.

Clients will now be able to view and make profile changes on-line as well as to view output from provisional book selections, books sent, and receive slip notification electronically. The system also allows for on-line ordering, information routing and has various levels of access from read only to order confirmation.

To access iApprove, visit Coutts website at www.couttsinfo.com and proceed to the on-line login screen. Typing in your User ID and Password and then clicking the iApprove button will send you directly to the new iApprove site. From this screen simply click on the iApprove node located on the left side of the screen and you will be given the option to enter into either your Bookstream or Slipstream profile areas. You can also generate a host of management reports from 'Purchases by Title' to 'Book Price History'

Coutts Information Services UK, announce the completion of the agreement to purchase Farries Ltd. the international booksellers based in Dumfries, from the provisional liquidator, Ian Wright of Haines Watts.
